The Kansas City Giants
The Kansas City Giants are a 14u competitive tournament team (2006 season). We will play in Major tournaments all summer. We emphasize fundamentals in all phases of the game so they will be prepaired to play in high school & beyond. We challenge the boys to reach thier baseball potential by playing the best competition. This year we are emphasizing "getting ready for high school baseball" by playing high school sized fields (60x90) along with teaching good fundamentals and vigorous work ethic. Our goals are to compete and succeed at the highest level of play in the country. Oh yeh...we have fun too!

2007 tryout information
The Giants will have an open tryout for our 2007 baseball season on _____________at Ozanam Home for Boys & Girls. Next year we are looking for a roster size of 11-13 and plan on playing mainly college showcase type tournaments that require regional travel along with a few local tournaments. We will start practicing in December to prepair for High School baseball then get back together on Memeorial Day weekend for the remainder of the summer season (When High School ball ends until the end of July). We will have anywhere from 1-3 practices per week depending on the schedule. If you need more info please call Rick Johnson or just show-up for the tryouts.

Giants complete Roster for 2006 summer season
The roster is set and the fields are being preped for the 2006 season. We want to welcome Chuck Preston to the team. He brings a ton of great experience to the Giants along with some very good "baseball" tools. Along with his speed and power Chuck has the right attitude about baseball. The Giants Welcome Chuck, Shiela and Scott to the ball club. We are very excited about the possibilities.
