THE NEXT ALL UMPIRE MEETING WILL BE:

DICK WILL BE GIVING OUT ASSIGNMENTS THROUGH THE END OF NOVEMBER WHEN WINTERBALL ENDS SO MAKE SURE YOU ARE THERE TO GET YOUR GAMES.
!!! GAME SCHEDULES AND YOUR AVAILABILITY!!!Dick needs to know what days you are available so that he can schedule games for you. Please call or email Dick as soon as possible and let him know what days you are available for games between OCT 5th and NOV 23rd.
On 3/6/08 we received updated rule changes for Tierra Canyon. Their 10U rules have changed.
Infield Fly and Dropped 3rd Strike are now in effect for this level.
On 3/10/08 we received an updated rule change for Ocean Beach.
There is no longer a drop dead time. It is now no new inning after 1hr 30min.
INTERESTED IN BEING AN UMPIRE?
NO previous umpire experience is necessary. We will train you.
We are no longer accepting new umpires for training in 2008. Please check back in November for info for the 2009 training class.

Welcome to the IUA
The IUA is group of dedicated men and women who umpire in South and East San Diego County. We officiate girls fastpitch softball (youth ages 8-16). We also officiate adult slowpitch softball with both Men's and Co-Ed leagues.
