Grimsby map of 2004 field locations. Arena East & West 2 Mini-fields adjacent to the Grimsby Community Centre on Livingston Ave. Parking at the Community Centre. Blessed Trinity (BT) One field. Blessed Trinity High School (BT) is on Livingston Ave. approximately one km. east of Casablanca Blvd. From Hamilton or St. Catharines take Casablanca Blvd. south from the QEW, cross the tracks, turn left at the flashing amber light (Livingston Ave.). Blessed Trinity High School parking lot is on the right. Soccer field is immediately east of the school parking lot and behind St. Joseph's Church. Please park at the school; not the church. Nearest Tim Hortons is a drive thru on Livingston Ave. about 1 km. east of BT. Full Tim Hortons at the "Gateway Niagara", Casablanca at the QEW, plus a number of fast food outlets.
Forty Mile Field One field -- adjacent to Forty Mile Creek. Field is lower than street level, at the corner of Ontario Street and Olive Street. Parking lot is at street level, off the west side of Ontario St. The entranceway is just north of the Olive St. intersection. From the QEW or Regional #81 take Ontario St. north to the field. Nearest Tim Hortons is on Olive St. about 200 yards west of the field.
Grimsby Secondary School One field. This location will be used as a "spare" field for the Dazzling Dozen Tournament. South from Livingston Ave. on Brierwood (just west of McDonalds) - runs right into the GSS parking lot. Nelles Fields Two fields located between Nelles School and the base of the escarpment. Parking: At either Nelles School (north of the fields) or Centennial Park (west of the fields). Both parking lots' entrances are south off Regional #81 (Hwy. #8) between Maple Ave. traffic lights and Nelles Road traffic lights. From the QEW take Maple Ave. exit, south to Regional #81 (traffic light), turn left. Both parking lot entrances are on your right. Nearest drive-thru Tim Hortons is on Livingston Ave. about 2 km. west of the school. Nearest regular Tim Hortons is at Christie and Olive Streets. 2 Minutes from these fields is a Donut Diner, just east of Nelles Road on Regional 81, in the Orchardview Plaza.
Roberts Road One field North off Livingston Ave. on to Oriole Crescent - just west of Roberts Road. Parking is at the north end of Oriole Cr. adjacent to the field. Smith Fields & Clubhouse Four fields numbered #1 to #4 west to east (#3 and #4 with lights) and the clubhouse. From Regional Rd. #81 (Hwy. #8): Turn north onto Oakes Rd.-- entranceway is on your right just before Smith School. From Hamilton: QEW to Fifty Rd. Follow south service road easterly to Tops Drive, turn right, follow Tops Drive around to Oakes Rd. Turn right (south), over the railway tracks and past Smith School. Entrance on your left. From St. Catharines: QEW to Casablanca. Follow south service road westerly (past John Deere) to Tops Drive then same instructions as above. Clubhouse phone number 905-945-0355. Nearest Tim Hortons - take Oakes Road north to the stop sign (Winston Rd.), turn right. Proceed about 1/2 km., you'll see it on the right. Also at this location is a Subway, Harveys / Swiss Chalet. On the south side of the QEW at Casablanca is the "Gateway Niagara" with another Tim Hortons and a number of fast food outlets.
