Please take the time to download and read these GTYSC policies and notes. These two handouts were distributed to all house league parents. The first is our policy on referee abuse; the second is a note primarily for team officials regarding referee authority. Click on "referee info." on the left. Tuesday, January 23 Rules re Wearing of Jewellery on the Playing Field Some of our referees are encountering verbal flak regarding removal of players' jewellery before games. The CSA rules are absolutely clear - "no item of jewellery of any sort will be allowed on the field of play, even if it is 'taped' i.e. covered".
