Mission Statement
It is the policy of the Goodlettsville Girls Fastpitch Softball League to promote the development of strong character, a right attitude and a sense of responsibility and citizenship in youngsters, using the game of softball as a vehicle. It is the policy of the Goodlettsville Girls Fastpitch Softball League to achieve this goal through fair play, good sportsmanship and congenial fellowship, with adult leaders providing the example.
LEAGUE INFORMATION
GGFS participates in USFA sanctioned fast pitch softball with both a spring season and fall ball for girls in the following age groups: 6U 8U 10U 12U 16U
Players are placed into age groups according to the age they were on January 1 of the current year. Pitching and player drafts are held each season to ensure fair distribution of teams. All games are played at Moss Wright Park in Goodlettsville, TN. Each team in all age groups may play 10 players in order to allow more participation. Coaches are selected and approved by the Board including background checks.
