Big League American Division
Big League National Division Girls Softball For Girls, the team ages are: T-Ball - 5-7 Minors - 8-10 Majors - 8-12* Seniors - 13-14* Big League - 14-18* *Depending on the number of players who sign up - Minors & Majors can be mixed. Seniors & Big League can be mixed. Season starts some time in May. The 2005 season started the 1st of May. Senior & Big League seasons start in June (after school Softball is finished) GAME DAYS: T-Ball, Minors & Majors play during the week. Senior & Big League play during the week and Double Header's on Saturdays. Until we know which Towns can field teams, we cannot anticipate which days of the week games will be played. *All Divisions are travel. It depends on how many players we get and how many Towns are able to field teams. Everything in Softball is dependent on other Towns, how many teams they can field, and their availability to schedule games with Gates. Home games are played on the GCHS JV or Varsity Fields. Start time is usually 6:15 or 6:30 weekdays. On weekends, double headers are scheduled for 10:00 am and noon. Away games are played in Webster, Greece, Penfield, Fairport, Spencerport, Rochester (Genesee Valley), Brighton, etc. |
