core purposes
Our two core purposes are the foundation upon which FW Reign '95 will build an elite Premier soccer program. We will strive to make all decisions on and off the field with these two core purposes in mind.

1)To develop young ladies for a lifetime of competition both on and off the soccer field

2) To instill and encourage a life-long love for the game of soccer

core values

and goals
Joe Paterno, a coaching legend in that "other" kind of football, once said:

"Success and excellence...they are not the same thing. Excellence is something that is lasting and dependable and largely within a person's control. In contrast, success is perishable and is often outside our control…..If you strive for excellence, you will probably be successful eventually….. people who put excellence in first place have the patience to end up with success….. "

The FW Reign '95 program will be striving for exactly this kind of excellence. With that in mind, we recognize the following goals and values for our players and program in the form of these EIGHT COMMITMENTS

1) A commitment to compete state-wide and regionally with other Premier Soccer programs who also strive for excellence

2) A commitment to provide properly trained and licensed coaches and trainers for all players in the FW Reign program

3) A commitment to provide all Reign players with the highest quality of professional training and instruction in a safe, positive, and enjoyable environment

4) A commitment to promote a style of soccer that encourages individual creativity within a team concept

5) A commitment to promote and expect honesty, discipline, respect, sportsmanship, and integrity from all participants (coaches, players, and parents)in the Reign program.

6) A commitment to create an environment where fun and enjoyment are seen as key ingredients to player development and on-field excellence

7) A commitment to provide a quality soccer experience at fair and reasonable prices

8) A commitment to build the coaches, teams, players, and parents into a FW Reign '95 "Family" that will work together cooperatively on and off the field

"Only those who will risk going too far can possibly find out how far they can go."
