Fury Baseball : Welcome

Fury Baseball is a collection of baseball players from Franklin, Granville, Vance, and Wake Counties. We provide the motivated player a place to learn about team work, responsibility, and the knowledge to improve his baseball skills. The Fury organization is going into it's fifth year and will be fielding teams in the 7u, 8u, 9u, 11u, 12u, and 13u age groups. Please check back for further updates.

Fury 12u Win Last Tournament Of The Season!!
The 12u boys ended the season with a bang as they took home the hardware at the Slamma Jamma in Wake Forest this past weekend. The boys played great going 4-0 while outscoring the competition 34-6. 2009 looks like a promising season with the addition of some fantastic ball players to their talented team. Thanks to everyone who supported this years 12u Fury team. GO FURY!!!

Fury 8u Win AAU National Championship!!
The 8u boys won the AAU National Championship Thursday night beating the three time Georgia State Champion Fayette Express 10-9. The kids were down early 6-0 but rallied to take the lead for good in the third inning. This was an amazaing season for a very talented group of kids. This was a first year team that played to a very high level all season long. Check back for a more in depth update. GO FURY!!!!

11u Fury player wins Forida State Championship
Austin Biggar of the 11u BPA State Championship team has added another Championship to his resume. Austin who also plays on Team Mizuno out of Orange Park Florida went down to Florida to play in the Florida USSSA State Tournament. Team Mizuno came back in the 6th inning to take the Florida State Championship 11-10. Austin did the Fury proud by hitting two home runs on Sunday in a great team effort. Congratulations Austin.

Fury Dominate BPA State Championship!!!
The Fury Baseball Organization was represented well this past weekend at the BPA State Championships in Wake Forest. The 9u, 11u, and 12u teams all took home the trophies in their respected divisions. It was an outstanding performance by all. We look forward to many more Championship seasons. GO FURY!!!!

9u Win Again!
After winning their last tournament the 9u Fury continued their winning ways by takinig the Rising Sun Celebration tournament at CCB in Wake Forest. The boys went 3-0 beating the Rolesville Rockets, the North Wake Rangers and The Carolina Blue Jays. This team is off to a great start and with the talented players and great coaches we'd expect them to finish even stronger. GO FURY!!!

Fury Sweep!!!!!!!!
It was a Fury sweep this weekend at the Cool Breeze Showdown in Wake Forest. To start things off the 8u team dominated the competition going 3-0 in their first tournament as a team. The 9u team rebounded from a first game loss to a very good Phoenix team to win the 9u Gold tournament. Last but not least the 12u boys went 3-0 to complete the sweep. Thanks to all the parents and coaches for making our family a class organization. We look forward to many more Championships. Great job boys!!!!!!!!
