Welcome to the Franklin Township Youth Basketball League (FTYB) Web Site!!

FTYB serves Franklin Township (Indianapolis, Indiana) by providing fellowship and recreation to the youth of our community. FTYB is open to players (male and female) in 3rd through 8th grade.

This site was established in September 2001.

DIVISION REGULAR SEASON STANDINGS UPDATED WEEKLY

With the exception of the Pixie and Rookie-3 divisions, divisional standings will be updated after each week's games. The standings can be found on the News Reports page.

Divisional Reps will be supplying the standings to the Webmaster based on information provided to them from their respective division coaches. If you see an error in the standings, please contact your specific division rep to investigate and correct.

END-OF-THE-SEASON TOURNEY GAME RESULTS



FTYB Championships!

Upon completion of the regular season schedule, all divisions will conclude the 2007-2008 FTYB Season with a seeded, single elimination, tournament. The championship games for each division (except the Senior Division - finals will be played on Wednesday, 12/19/2007) will occur on Super Saturday, February 23, 2008. All championship games will be played at Franklin Township Middle School.

The tourney game results will be posted after each week's games and can be found on the News Reports page. Divisional League Reps will be supplying the tourney game results and scores to the webmaster based on information provided to them from their respective league coaches. If you see an error in the scores or results, please contact your specific league rep to investigate and correct.

Here is the schedule for the Super Saturday championship games:
8:30 AM - Minor5 Division - Main Gym
9:15 AM - Rookie3 Division - Auxiliary Gym
10:15 AM - Junior Division - Main Gym
11:00 AM - Pixie Division - Auxiliary Gym
12:00 PM - Minor6 Division - Main Gym
12:45 PM - Rookie4 Division - Auxiliary Gym
1:45 PM - Major Division - Main Gym

During halftime of each game, there will be a Free Throw Shooting Contest for players in that specific division; two players will represent each team in the contest and will be submitted for participation by the league coaches. Also, the Senior Division awards presentations and FT Contest entrants are invited to participate during the Major Division championship game.

During the halftimes of the 2007-2008 "Super Saturday" team championship games, a free throw shooting or sharp shooter contest was held. Two representatives from each team in each division competed for the right to be named that division's "Sharp Shooter."
