Front Runners Atlanta is a running, walking and social club for gay people and friends. Membership is open to all people regardless of race, pace, age, gender, sexual orientation, or athletic ability. Through our weekly runs and social events, our club offers opportunities for fun, fitness and socializing. There are no minimum requirements and FRA allows each member to determine his or her own level of involvement.
Our runs and walks are always open to new members, visitors to the Atlanta-area, as well as those who are just curious and want to give us a try. Runs are generally from 4-6 miles and follow a variety of routes through Atlanta’s beautiful mid-town neighborhoods.
The group meets on Saturday mornings 8:00 a.m. and Wednesday evenings at 6:30 p.m. at the Piedmont Park tennis court parking lot off of Park Dr. On Monday's the group meets at StudioPlex in front of the Café of Life in Inman Park located at 659 Auburn Ave. The group also plans periodic Adventure Runs where we take an excursion to do trail runs in various parks around the region such as Stone Mountain State Park or Kennesaw National Park.
