Welcome to Freedom Little League Baseball

Now that the holidays are over, it is time to start thinking about baseball. Please get registered and sign up to volunteer. Volunteers are the only way to make this a successful league; and each and every one of you are appreciated.

Mark your calendars - Tucson Little League Day at Tucson Electric Park Sunday, April 27th, at 12:00pm. 

Bring your gloves and LET'S PLAY BALL!!!

Here are the registration dates for 2008:

Please remember you will need your child’s birth certificate, and 3 proofs of your address!!

Fee is $55 per child with a maximum fee of $135 for families with multiple children. There will be a $10 late fee after Feb. 3.

Softball Registrations will be taken by the newly formed Softball League, Presidio Diamond Softball. More information will be posted as updated.

Message from our Umpire-In-Chief

Freedom Little League is in need of more board members for the 2008 season. The following positions are available:

  • Secretary/Newsletter
  • Snack Bar Coordinators
  • Fundraising/Team Parent Coordinator
  • Event Coordinators

We would like to have more parent involvement on our Board. Volunteers are what makes a league run successfully and we welcome all the volunteers that we can get. The list of job descriptions is under the handout link.

All persons on the Freedom Little League board are expected to attend the monthly board meetings, which are held about the 3rd week of each month except December. Volunteer to help on registration days, open and/or close the snack bar, help with opening and closing day ceremonies, and follow the Code of Conduct that has been put into place. All Board Members may be asked to help in other areas also and are expected to help out as necessary to ensure that the league will run smoothly and with as few issues as possible. It cannot be done without YOUR help!!
