CHECK IN / TEE_OFF: Begins at 6:30 am; you must check in 30 minutes before your Tee Time or your tee time may be taken by a team on the waitlist. Leave for first hole (Links) immediately after announcement from the starter.
FORMAT: Three different six-hole formats. Four-ball handicap stroke play (BetterBall), Alternate shot stroke play (Foursomes) and individual handicap stroke play. Flighted by handicap of players and teeing ground selection. Teams must be within 10 Fox Hollow handicap difference or the higher handicap player will be adjusted downward.
For the first six holes each player will play his own ball, apply the appropriate handicap strokes and then the team will choose the lower net score as the team score. For the second six holes the player whose hole scoring box is not blackened out on the score card will be responsible for the tee shot. After the tee shot the players will alternate shots on the same ball until it is in the hole. The handicap strokes of the player who hit the tee shot are applied and the net score is the team score. For the final six holes each player will play his own ball and apply the appropriate handicap strokes. The team score for those holes is the sum of the two net scores. Par for the event is 94 (1st six – 25, 2nd six – 23, 3rd six – 23 x 2).

METHOD TO BE USED IF PARTNER IS MISSING: You may receive a refund (but not your partner unless he cancels in advance) or play by yourself competing only for closest-to-the-hole contests.
RECORDING SCORES: Both scores should be recorded on card; If you pick up in the better ball portion, record the score you most likely would have made on hole.
CLOSEST-TO-THE-HOLE CONTEST: This is an individual competition paying $25.00 in ProShop credit. All par threes have a contest. NOTE: On hole #8 on the Links, the second player listed on the score card is responsible for the tee shot. However, the other player may hit a tee shot strictly for the closest to the hole contest and the hole in one pot. After the attempt he will pick up his ball.
SKINS GAME: A voluntary $10.00 Skins / Team ($5.00/Player) Game is available. Teams may enter with cash only at the check-in table. If one team member elects not to enter, the other player, at his option, may elect to pay the total entry and “pick up all the action". Skins are determined by net better ball score on each hole.
TIES: Will be settled by a scorecard play-off as specified in the current USGA Rules of golf, Rule 33-6, Appendix I, 2 (c ). Stroke Play and Club policy (Last 9, Last 6, Last 3, #18, By Lot)
PACE OF PLAY: Pace of Play will be enforced! You must finish the front nine in 2 hours and 20 minutes, the eighteen in 4 hours and 45 minutes, or be within 15 minutes of the group in front of you. The policy is on the card distributed with your member’s packet.
PRIZES
Are in the form of credit in the Prize Book in the Fox Hollow Pro Shop. Credits can accumulate through the season, but must be spent by December 31st, 2008. (no exceptions).
Prize amounts and distribution is based on number of players and will be posted the day of the tournament.
SCORE CARD PREPARATION REQUIREMENTS
Turn in your score card immediately after completion of 18 Holes.
Verify the score for each hole for each player. A lower wrong entry may disqualify you.
Record the finish time of the 9th and 18th holes on your score card.
Sign your scorecard and have it attested by marker from other team in your group.
