EYB players, family and freinds. Our 1st annual Fundraiser "Home Run Derby" was a huge success. Everyone had a great time, there was plenty of food and lots of "Rawlings" being hit over the fence. Below are the winners of the "Opportunty Drawing", most raffle tickets each division sold and most HRs each Division.

A BIG Congratulations to Steven Dominguez of the Mustang Braves. On Tuesday against the Rockies Steven hit a Home Run over the Left Field fence, the first in the Mustang division this year.

Contratulations to Alex Groesbeck of the Bronco Blue Jays on his multi-HR game against the Royals Tuesday night. Alex had a 2 run and a Grand SLAM in the Blue Jays 11-7 win. The 2 HR's were the first of his youth baseball career.

Congatulations to David "Ortiz" Guitierrez of the Bronco Yankees. His 2 run blast helped "seal the deal" in their 17-9 win over the Devil Rays.

Opening Day ceremonies last Saturday was a huge success. The weather held off and it was the best day of the year. Everyone had a great time. There was plenty of food eat and the silent auction baskets that each team made were AWESOME. To sum it up "WAY TO GO EYB players, family and friends".

Wednesday night was the first ever Shetland All-Star game between the West Coast Dodgers and East Coast Mets. The West Coast team squeaked out the win 33-31, yes you read correctly 33-31! The MVP's were Ryan Stinett for the East Coast and Tanner Clark for the West Coast.
