The first annual fundraising dance was held on Friday June 13, 2008.

The dance was a great success.  We had approximately 130 people attend, the food was great and plentiful, and the band got people up onto the dance floor throughout the night.  Our goal of this dance was for the parents and supporters of EBLL to have some fun and raise a little money if possible.  With the generous donations we got from sponsors and donors we were able to raise approximately $4000 of profit for the league.  I believe that people had an awesome time and heard many comments on Saturday in my travels around the ball fields that people thought it was great and would like to see us do it again.  I concur.  I would also like to thank everyone that pitched in and volunteered to help on Friday and also thank all who attended.  A special thanks to Bill from the commercial club and his staff for donating the room and doing a phenomenal job for our league.
