Returning players, those who played in the 2008 EFBA Spring season and meet the age requirements, need only complete another Medical Release Form (see below and under the Handouts and Forms section in this website) and have a parental signature at the time of registration, along with payment of the appropriate fee for the age group.
New players, those who were not registered for the 2008 EFBA Spring season, will be accepted. These new players must be residents of the Town of East Fishkill and meet the age requirements. At the time of registration these new players must complete a New Player Application Form and the Medical Release Form (see below and under Handouts and Forms section in this website). These completed forms must be accompanied by a proof of residency in the Town of East Fishkill (examples phone or other utility bill with Town address listed), and a proof of age (examples birth certificate, baptismal certificate or passport), along with payment of the appropriate fee for the age group. NO NEW REGISTRATIONS WILL BE ACCEPTED WITHOUT THE INFORMATION REQUESTED AT THE TIME OF REGISTERING.
Please Note: We are unable to accept new non-resident players for registration in 2008 Fall Ball due to the limitations of fields and team size.Requests for refunds will follow our policy which can be found both below and under Refunds on this website. There will be no exceptions to this policy.
It is strongly suggested that all those registering complete the necessary forms for both returning players and new players as indicated above prior to registering. This will help speed up your registration process.
THERE WILL BE NO OTHER REGISTRATIONS SCHEDULED FOR 2008 FALL BALL. WE WILL NOT ACCEPT MAIL-IN REGISTRATIONS EITHER BEFORE OR AFTER THIS DATE. IF YOU ARE UNABLE TO REGISTER YOUR PLAYER, PLEASE ASK A RELATIVE, FRIEND OR NEIGHBOR TO DO IT FOR YOU.
All registered players (including those who pre-registered at the 2008 Spring season registrations –see the file below for those names) will be notified by e-mail or by phone prior to the start of the season.
It is anticipated that the season will start on Saturday September 6, 2008 at 9 AM, however this date will be confirmed by the e-mail or phone message you receive prior to this date. Please note that EF has scheduled this year’s Community Day for Saturday September 20, 2008 and as in years past EFBA will reschedule Fall Ball games as appropriate.
Fall Ball games are scheduled on weekends during September and October. Cancelled games due to weather conditions may or may not be made up prior to the end of the season in October.
Some age groups may have travel to other towns for games. In addition, EFBA will make every attempt to honor requests for players being placed together on the same team for such reasons as carpooling, etc., for the younger age groups (11 years old or less). However, based on the amount of those registering and the team rosters, this may not be possible in some circumstances. Therefore, parents and guardians are strongly urged to consider these issues prior to registering your player.
All this information will be discussed with you by the manager of the team before or on the first day of Fall Ball.
If you have any questions or require any additional information, please e-mail us at EFBA2002.com or call us at 845-227-6295 after August 1, 2008. No one will respond to any e-mails or voicemail messages left before this date.
NOTE TO PARENTS AND GUARDIANS
In order for Fall Ball to be successful we are in need of parents and guardians volunteering their time to manage and coach our teams during the season. If you are interested, please sign the manager / coach list at registration or let us know by contacting us at either the e-mail address or phone number given above after August 1, 2008.
