HOW TO JOIN
New Teams
        
The EFL is an invitational semi-professional football league with teams operating in the New England states. Prospective teams are invited to apply for membership by contacting a league officer or EFL President Bob Kalinyak at 207-829-5702.

Teams interested in joining the EFL must have a home field with lights for night games. Locker and shower facilities must also be available for both the home and visiting team.

The EFL holds its winter weekend meetings in January or February at which time new teams will be given an opportunity to make a presentation outlining their franchise. Information pertaining to team officers, coaches, management, facilities, financial ability and sponsorship opportunities will be discussed. After the presentation, a vote will be taken by the EFL Board of Directors to determine admittance.
