East County Amateur Softball Association
is a recreational, fast pitch softball league for girls ages 4 1/2-16 years old.
East County ASA is associated with Junior Olympics ASA.
Our players live in the surrounding areas of East County:
El Cajon, Alpine, Santee,Lakeside, La Mesa, Jamul, Lemon Grove,
Descanso, Pine Valley and Rancho San Diego
Diego.

***All Star Garage Sale***
When: Saturday May 10th
Time: 7:00 am - 11:00 am
Where: East County ASA Fields
What to do: Bring all your unwanted items to sell.
If you can't stick around we will sell it for you.
*All money raised will be divided equally between all of the teams.

***All Star Bake Sale***
There will be two bake sales to raise money for the All Star Teams.
#1 Bake Sale - During the Garage Sale, May 10th from 7am to 11am.
#2 Bake Sale - Saturday May 17th from 8am until items are gone.
Please donate items to sell...cookies, donuts, cupcakes etc.
*All money from these two sales will be divided
equally between ALL teams.

***Congratulations East County Gamers and Baby Got Bat***
On Sunday Apr 20th and 27th, all of our 16u teams played in the 2nd Annual East County End of Seaon 14/16u Tournament along with teams from Alpine and Lakeside.
The East County Gamers were the tournament champions and Baby Got Bat finished second.
We want to take the time to thank all the teams and volunteers that help made the tournament a success. We look forward to seeing you next year.

***Congratulations Baby Got Bat***
On Sunday April 13th, BABY GOT BAT played in the 1st Annual 14u Valley Mesa Spring Break Rec Tournament.
They went 3-1, to finish in 2nd place.
In pool play, they beat Valley Mesa 7-2, then played a team from West Garden Grove and beat them 8-5.
In their semi-final game, they played Tierra Canyon
and played a very close game where they won 6-5
to advance to the championship game against Bonita Valley.
The heat finally took its toll on the players and they
came up short to lose a great championship game 6-1.
Good job ladies!!!
Way to represent East County!!!!

***Congratulations Crank Dat***
On Sunday Mar 30th, Crank Dat played in the 1st Annual 12u Valley Mesa Spring Break Rec Tournament.
They went 4-0, to become the tournament champions.
In pool play, they beat Valley Mesa 11-0, and then in their first bracket game, they played another Valley Mesa Team and beat them 12-2. In their semi-final game, they played another Valley Mesa team and beat them 8-2 to advance to the finals against Corona.
This was a great championship game, against a very good Corona team. Crank Dat jumped out to a 3-0 lead and after 7 innings they were able to hold the lead and win 4-2.
They played 4 straight games in a row and outscored their opponents 35-6.
Great job, ladies!!!
