of Murray Macdonald

Who left the baseball diamonds in District 1 to join the big baseball diamond in heaven

On November 27, 2008

Murray was a longtime president of Stoney Creek Little League and District 1 secretary. A devoted advocate of the Little League program, his life from May to September was being at the park to ensure the games were played and the kids had a good time.

Murray was also very active in the community and would make a December appearance atop a sleigh wearing a red suit and sporting a white beard.

His legacy has remained in Stoney Creek with the involvement of many family members devoted to the Little League program as players and volunteers.

Thanks Murray for your good work over your many years(all the Macdonalds also)
