| 2 Down and 2 too go. Thanks to some great volunteers, fans, weather, umpee's and players we were treated to some exciting Minor LL baseball in Dundas. Mike you and the DLL vols did a fanatastic job on the field and announcing. How can you sell you food at those prices, folks if you are in Dundas and a game is on stop by for some great food with supper low prices. Now to the games, check out the scores on this site and tell me that you wouldn't have gotten excited by the games, even the mercies were worth staying to the end for. In the end the Ancaster Cardinals went on to defeat the High Park Braves in an nail biting finish. Now onto Pearth for the Cardinals to bring home the gold in the Ontario Minor Championship. Thanks to all for a Minor ray of sunshine |

| It has been a long wet spring but now that summer arrived(with lightening, thunder rain & hail)the District 1 Houseleague Championship came to life. What excitment, where else could you watch 11 & 12 year old players show case their talents with such enthusiasm. Over the past 2 weekends families watched in amazment at their sons, daughters or grandchildern play the game like never before. There were alot of firsts for some players and their successes just kept on coming. Super big thanks to Stoney Creek Optimist Little League and all the great volunteers that made this tournament a memorable experience for all the participants. Congrats to the Champion Athletics and to the 2 fan favorites Curtiss(Red Sox) & Natasha(A's) |
