Friday, March 9GAME TWO US. GRANT
Now were playing, weather couldn't have been better. Taylor throw a great game only gave up 3hits, 2runs, 2HBP, 0walks and had 7K's not a bad daies work. How about 15 hits and 11 RBI's, Matt D. and Bryon lead the bunch. Matt went 3 for 4 with 2 doubles and 4RBI, ( great job #5 ) followed byBryon going 3 for 4 with 3 singles and a RBI. Then Kerwin 2/4, Phillip 2/4, Cody F. 2/3. Way to hit the ball Eagles.

GAME ONE PC. WEST
Opening Day, cold, windy, overcast, not a good day. Eagles started out good But in the 5th the cat got out of the bag! Cody was throwing a pretty good game throught 4, had 6K, no walks and had given up 3hits and 3 runs. The game was a 3 to 2 contest at that time. But here is the But in the 5th we gave up 3 walks and had 3 errors. On a good note things looked good just 1 bad inning. Norman went 2 for 3 at the plate. PC. WEST 10, DEL CITY 2

OPENING DAY 2007
It' here, it's here opening day 2007. We have baseball again. The Eagles will host Putnam City West today (3/2/07) at 4:00pm. Eagle field will be rocken with the start of the new season, the smell of chill dogs, and great baseball. The weather will be cooler with a high of 56, and wind out of the N.W. so bring your blanket to keep warm. See ya at the ball park.

Baseball Royalty has good showing for the 2006-2007 Mr. & Miss. DCHS.
Courtney was the 4th runner-up for Miss. DCHS, and Cody was 2nd runner-up for Mr. DCHS.

Former Eagle Mike Laws gets his first collegiate "K" vs. Harding University. Mike has worked very hard during the fall, and this spring he has earned a spot on the STARTING PITCHING STAFF for York College NE. Way to go Mike, good luck and keep stacking up those K's

EAGLES LOOK GOOD IN FIRST SCRIMMAGE!
The Eagles had their first work of the 2007 season on Monday 2/12/07 at McGuinness. The guys looked good making several playes in the field, Cody D., Taylor, Matt, Kerwin, Cody F., Norman, to name a few all had hits. Ricky, Taylor, Cody D. all pitched well. Cody faced 8 batters, walked 1, hit 1, and K'ed the other SIX.

Del City coach David Weaver will be inducted into the OBCA Hall of Fame on Saturday Feb. 3rd at the winter coaches meeting. Great Job Coach Weaver

CODY SIGNS WITH OTTAWA UNIVERSITY

Cody is pictured here with the Ottawa Braves coaches ( Head Coach Jarrod Titus right, and Coach Matt Read)
Cody will be on the Braves pitching staff, and will see some time as a DH.
The Braves were the 2006 KCAC (Kansas Collegiate Athletics Conference) Champs, and played in the NAIA region IV Tournament.
