When I moved to Philadelphia, PA to help my aging parents, one of my main concerns was leaving this website behind. It was a great relief to know that Ed Nevins would be taking over my duties as DIO. I know that Ed is very capable and his attention to detail is astounding.
Our site here at CT District 11 was one of the first in the Little League system and helped set the benchmark for all the rest. I am thrilled to see how well Ed is continuing the tradition...keeping the site fresh and loaded with current information.
I will miss the frenetic pace of the All-Star Tournaments...and, most of all, I will miss umpiring games at your fields and working with the top-notch umpiring staff at CT 11. I leave behind a lot of blood and sweat on the ballfields of Eastern CT.
God bless you...Keep up the great tradition!

| the pomfret recreation department is sponsoring a softball pitching and defensive clinic. at the woodstock academy field house february 23 2002. with the assumption collage greayhounds led by coach of the year ralph de lucia. mr de lucia is among the regions top clinicians and pitching instructiors.attending with ralph will be the three team captins outfielder laurie del grego outfielder lori amicangelo and catcher bridget dean. one to three for ten ,eleven ,and twelve year olds.three to five will be thirteen year olds and up. the cost is twenty five dollors for pomfret resedients and thirty dollors for out of towners.for more imformation contact barber at the rec office at 974 1423. |
