Back Creek Field Located at Back Creek Elementary School, on St Rt 221/Bent Mountain Rd, approximately 5 miles southwest of Cave Spring Jr High School. The field is standard Little League size, with 60 foot base lines and a 46 foot pitching distance. There are no dugouts and no lighting. There is a picnic pavillion on the site. Cave Spring Masonic Lodge Field Located on Ranchcrest Drive accessible from the access road to Cave Spring Elementary School, this field is owned by the Cave Spring Masonic Lodge, Number 230. It's a scaled down field, designed with first time T-ball players in mind. The field slopes slightly uphill from home plate toward the outfield, to slow the ball down for the fielders. Garst Mill Field #2 This field is owned by Roanoke County Department of Parks and Recreation, and is located in Garst Mill Park accessible on Halevan Road off Garst Mill Road. From Halevan Rd, turn left into the park, and follow the road to the end, where you will see the field and parking lots. It is a standard Little League field with 60 foot base lines. Hidden Valley Fields HIDDEN VALLEY FIELDS #1 and #2. These fields are owned by Roanoke County Public Schools, and are located on Hidden Valley Middle School Road, accessible from State Route 419/Electric Rd, between Oak Grove and Lewis Gale Hospital. Turn onto Hidden Valley Middle School Road at the traffic light and you will see the baseball fields located along the left side of the street just beyond the running track. Field #1 is located closest to the street. Field #2 is located beyond Field #1, near a creek and a wooded area. There are enclosed dugouts and a concession stand on Field #1. Oak Grove Elementary School Field The Oak Grove field has standard Little League dimensions (60 foot base-lines), enclosed dugouts, lights for night games, an electronic scoreboard, a concession stand, rest rooms, an enclosed press box, and a playground for small children. Starkey Fields There are three fields in the Starkey complex which are used by CSALL, and owned by Roanoke County Department of Parks and Recreation: Starkey #5, #6 and #7. All of these fields are accessible from the intersection of Merriman Road and Starkey Road, directly across the street from the railroad crossing. There is a sign placed at the entrance to the park with the notation Starkey Ball Fields #5 and #6. The parking lot at the end of the road serves Starkey #5 and #6. Starkey Field #7 is located to the right of the entrance road, just past a brick maintenance building. Field #5 is a full size baseball field (90 foot base lines)used primarily for Juniors and Seniors Division play. There are also enclosed dugouts, an elevated "press box", an electronic scoreboard, and bleachers along the base lines. Field #5 also has lighting equipment which meets Little League and Roanoke County requirements for night play. Field #6 is a standard Little League field with 60 foot base lines, and is used primarily for Majors Divison play. There are enclosed dugouts, an elevated "press box", an electronic scoreboard, and bleachers along the base lines. Field #6 has lighting equipment which meets Little League and Roanoke County requirements for night play. Field #7 has standard Little League dimensions, but does not have dugouts or lighting equipment, and is used primarily for T-Ball or Coach Pitch play. A separate parking lot is provided adjacent to this field. Facilities serving all three fields include a newly constructed concession building with a covered picnic pavilion and permanent restrooms, a netted batting cage, and three bull pens.
