Winter Tournament Champions Players from both the U11 Concord Athletico and Revolution teams combined to claim the championships in 2 December 2007 tournaments. The team went undefeated in both the Chichester Soccer 4 v 4 World Cup Tournament and the University of Delaware 5 v 5 Holiday Futsal Tournament. Four games were won in each tourney. Players included Kyle, Matthew, Miguel, Aubrey, Chris O, John, Kevin and Sam.
U11 Athletico 2007 Delco Tournament Champion The U11 Concord Athletico was the Champion of the U11 Blue A bracket of the 2007 Delco Columbus Day Weekend Tournament. The Athletico posted a record of 3 wins and 1 loss, and outscored their opponents 14-4, in total goals. Games included scores of 7-0, 1-2, 2-1 and a 4-1 victory in the championship game over the EBYA Titans. Great job, Athletico! Saturday, September 1 U11 Concord Athletico to Compete In Delco League The U11 Concord Athletico will compete in the Delco Soccer League for the Fall 2007 Season. They will also participate, once again, in the Delco Columbus Day Weekend Tournament, October 6th and 7th. Good luck, Athletico! Sunday, May 20 U10 Concord Athletico Undefeated in MASL-2nd Year! For the 2nd consecutive year, the Concord Athletico has gone Undefeated in the Mid-Atlantic Soccer League's 2007 spring season. Games included victories over MOT, Hockessin, Midshore MD, Kirkwood, Kent Island MD; no losses, and a tie with Western YMCA. Way to go guys! Sunday, April 29 Athletico 3 for April The U10 Athletico continues their winning ways in April, with 2 more victories: 4-2 win vs Hockessin and 9-3 win over Midshore (Easton, MD) Tornadoes. Great job! Wednesday, April 4 2007 Spring Season Opens The U10 Athletico opened the 2007 spring season with a 2-1 victory over the MOT United. We are playing in the Mid-Atlantic Soccer League U10 Division II. The spring season is a short, 6-game season, followed by U11 tryouts in mid-May for next year and an early June tournament. Wednesday, November 15 U10 Athletico Completes Winning Season The U10 Concord Athletico has completed a successful winning season for Fall 2006. The season was our best Delco League outing, so far. Highlights included 39 goals scored, a great mid-season run (winning 5 of 6 games) and a second place showing in the Delco Columbus Day Tournament (see below). The team will be training indoor over the winter months, and will be looking forward to competing again in the spring. We will be playing in the Mid-Atlantic Soccer League (MASL), as we did last year. Thank you for your support. Wednesday, November 1 2006 Delco Columbus Day Weekend Tournament The U10 Concord Athletico was the finalist (2nd Place) in the U10 Silver Division of the 2006 Delco League Columbus Day Weekend Tournament. Victories included 7-0 preliminary win over Radnor Internacional and 4-2 semi-final win over TEYSA Kicks. Wednesday, November 1 U9 Athletico Undefeated in MASL The U9 Athletico went undefeated in the U9 Division of the Mid-Atlantic Soccer League for Spring 2006. Games included victories over Hockessin, MOT, Kirkwood, Western YMCA and Kent Island, MD and a tie with Hockessin.
