Charlton Players Attend FCA Camp at Georgia Southern
On Monday July 7, the Charlton County Indians football team left for a 3 day camp at Georgia Southern University. The camp is an FCA (Fellowship of Christian Athletes)camp where the players will be able to work on their skills for the upcoming season. Coach Mcwhorter believes this camp will help the players work together as a team as well as give them direction in their personal lives. The players and coaches wish to thank the churches, individuals, businesses and the Charlton County Quarterback Club, who donated and sponsored players, without you this camp would not have been possible. Also thanks to Mrs.. Ethel Hannans and Mrs. Mary Cobb for taking the time to drive the buses.

Ricky Hart Verbally Commits to Maryland
Charlton County offensive guard/defensive tackle Ricky Hart has verbally committed to play football at the University of Maryland. Hart, a 6-3 315 pounder is slated to play offensive guard for the Terrapins. Maryland is a member of the Atlantic Coast Conference.
