About the Association
Central Massachusetts Flag Football Association is believed to be the oldest continuing adult recreation program in New England. The Association, begun in 1971 as the Worcester Parks Football Program, has been under the same leadership and organization since its founding.
If judged by number of teams, participants and games played, the CMFFA on a yearly basis is perhaps the biggest in any New England community.
Registration for prospective teams occurs mainly after February 1st in any year. Advance notice and information can be obtained by contacting Fran Horuzek (508) 799-3859.
The Central Massachusetts Flag Football Association is an annual adult multi-league flag and touch football program. Leagues in the CMFFA follow various formats of play and reach different age and gender groups.
CMFFA teams are full-uniformed with all participants going through a registration system before gaining eligibility.
CMFFA leagues start play right after Labor Day and follow a 10 game schedule followed by play offs that end about December 1st.
