Celtic 96 White Rank No. 6 in Ohio South
In the latest state and national rankings released on May 29th at nationalsoccerranking.com, our Celtic 96 White girls are ranked No. 6 in Ohio South and No. 23 in Region II, which covers most of the midwestern U.S. Local teams ranked higher than us includes GSE Cardinal Premier (lost on PK's in Mead Cup last fall), Ohio Elite Soccer Academy (won one and lost one against), Classics Hammer (lost on PK's in the finals of the OE Spring Classic) and Eagles SC (lost in OT at State Cup quarter finals). Local teams ranked below us include Westside Premier, Ohio Premier Green and Lady Warrior 96 Black. This is great recognition for our team and entire Celtic program. CONGRATULATIONS GIRLS AND COACHES!!!!!!

Celtic 96 White Buckeye Premiere League Champs

Congratulations to the Celtic 96 White soccer team for winning the girls U11 Buckeye Premiere League. Buckeye Premeire is a league composed of top teams from the Dayton, Cincinnati and Columbus area. The team finished league play with a record of 5-1-2, which earned them the top spot. Great job girls and coaches!!!

Celtic 96 White Dominate Creek Classic
On the final weekend of spring soccer, the Celtic 96 White girls soccer team closed out a very successful spring by being crowned the champions of the White Division in the Creek Classic held May 31st and June 1st. The team cruised through preliminary play by outscoring their opponents 16-0. In the finals, the girls faced a very tough Beadling team out of Pittsburgh, PA. Celtic 96 White prevailed in a hard fought and physical game, 1-0. Creek Classic Champions

Monday, April 28
Celtic 96 White lose OESA Spring Classic final in Penalty kicks

Celtic 96 White played four tough games over the weekend. The first game saturday was against Toledo FC. The girls played well and won 6-0. The afternoon game was against hometown OESA Gold and again the girls were victorious 5-0. The assured them of a top seed in the brack and a semi-final game against hometown Ohio Elite Soccer Academy. It was a very physical game and an exciting game. The game ended 1-1 forcing a 10 minute overtime. The celtics score in overtime to lead 2-1 and OESA scored as time expired to tie it 2-2. The game moved to penalty kicks. Both teams fought hard but te 96 White came out the winner 9-8 in 12 rounds.

The final was against Classic Hammer. The game ended tied 1-1 and lead to anoth round of penalty kicks. This time we were unsuccessful and lost on PKs. It was a great weekend with a lot of good soccer. The competition was physical and skilled and the girls played well



Sunday, March 30
Celtic 96 White Win PRF-CFA United Cup

On a cold and windy weekend the BSA Celtic 96 White girls played four good games and came away victorious. The weekend started with two tough games. The first game early saturday morning was against Ann Arbour United from Ann Arbour Michigan. The girls played well and won 2-0. The afternoon game was against hometown CFA 96 Gold. The team played better and recorded a 4-1 win assuring themselves a spot in the final the following day.

Sunday was again cold and windy. The morning game was against Norwood SA Stingrays. The Celtics dominated this one with an 8-0 win. The final proved more difficult with a hard fought win against Warren County United White 1-0. Both teams played well and it was a fun weekend for all.



Sunday, September 9
Mead Cup Quarterfinalists
The Celtic 96 made a strong showing at the 2007 Mead Cup by winning their group and making the quarterfinals. There they played an evenly matched game against a strong Cardinal Premier team. The Celtic 96 took the lead 1-0 but the Cardinal scored a late equalizer to send the game to overtime. Following two scoreless overtime periods, the Celtic 96 were finally defeated in a penalty kick shootout.

Celtic 96 Reach Arsenal Cup Finals
The Celtic 96 Girls U11 Premier soccer team were finalists in the Gold Division of the the 2007 Arsenal Challenge Cup held the weekend of August 16-17, 2007. Undefeated in group play, the Celtic 96 lost only to the Warren County 96 Blue team in the finals.
