Thanks to all of those parents, kids, and volunteers who have joined our team! We are excited to offer a fresh alternative for all of you and welcome those who have yet to join. We believe passionately in our children and look forward to a great 2008 season.

NOTE: our CAYFL "on line" registration is NOW CLOSED for the fall 2008 season !
Note, the "On-Line" Registration ended on June 30th. after that date you will need to contact your local Association for registration information, and if they have any available roster space !!!

REGISTRATION FEES FOR THE 2008 SEASON:
FLAG Football = $100.00
Cheerleading = $100.00
TACKLE Football = $175.00
ALL REGISTRATIONS AFTER the JUNE 21 date,( Tackle, Flag or Cheer ) WILL BE CONSIDERED "LATE", and a $25.00 LATE FEE will be applied on your registrations.
THE LAST CAYFL Registration Day WAS Saturday, JUNE 21th,
NOTE: some Associations could still have another registration day, to fill up any open roster spots. Please check your Association web site for specific locations and times !

ITEMS NEEDED TO REGISTER YOUR CHILD......
1. Child's Parent or Guardian
2. Child who is planning in participating
3. the "original" or a "certified" copy of Child's BIRTH CERTIFICATE.
please bring the original, AND a COPY for us to keep with your registration.
4. proof of residence, acceptable items are: water / gas / electric bill, with your physical residence address printed on it. please bring the original, AND a COPY for us to keep with your registration paperwork.
5. each child will need a PHYSICAL, before the start of practice. please click on the "handouts/forms" page and print up a CAYFL Physical form to use at your Doctors office.
6. a copy of the child's "final" 2007 - 2008 Report Card.
7. Cash or Check for the full amount of the Registration fees. ( only thru the "on-line" service can we accept any credit / debt cards )

Friday, August 29th , game starts at 6:40pm vs the L.A. Dodgers
All CAYFL Players, Cheerleaders and Coaches will participate in a pre-game on field parade around the warning track, then with a special pricing on lower level outfield bleacher tickets, stay and watch our Arizona D-backs beat up on the Dodgers !!!
AND, plan on staying to watch the great post-game FIREWORKS ... WOW !!!
Contact your Association Board for the ticket order form, ALL players, parents, and families can purchase special discounted Diamondbacks tickets for this game.
Come and be a part of a GREAT Friday night with CAYFL , the Diamondbacks , and fireworks !

NEW ASSOCIATION in CAYFL for the 2008 Season ...
We are pleased to announce our newest group to join the Central Arizona Youth Football League for the 2008 season.
"Buckeye Youth Football and Cheer Association" was approved by a uninamous vote at our November 1st. 2007 Presidents Meeting.
Mr. Humberto Aceves, with many years of volunteering in youth sports in California and in Arizona is the newly elected President of BYFA.

CAYFL welcomes any participant from Maricopa, Pinal and Gila County. However it is important to note that in our fourth season (2008) our participating member Associations operate in the following Valley cities and areas:
Cave Creek, Tempe, Chandler, Ahwatukee, South Phoenix, Gilbert, Mesa, Anthem,
New River, Paradise Valley, Glendale, Peoria, North & Central Phoenix, Gila River,
Apache Junction, Queen Creek, Globe, San Carlos, North & Central Scottsdale, Maryvale, Goodyear,Tolleson, Litchfield Park, Avondale, Surprise, Laveen, Buckeye, Tonopah, Gila Bend, and El Mirage.
As a result, practice fields and games will be conducted in these geographic areas. We fully expect to continue to expand to other parts of Maricopa, Pinal and Gila counties in the future.
