Deja Vu in loss to Northern
It seemed just like last year's match against Northern, back and forth with Carlisle seeming like the dominant team until the very end. Carlisle had everything clicking defensively Tuesday night, but the offense struggled for a change. Northern put up a strong block, and it kept them in command throughout games 4 and 5. Carlisle's defense was for the most part unbelieveable, with a combined 94 team digs and 15 team blocks. Unfortunately, Carlisle fell short losing in 5 games. Games 4 and 5, Carlisle decided to move Justin Beachy to the outside and Billy Davis to Libero in order to rest Nate Wysocki. Although the loss will not sit well, luckily Northern is a AA school, so it will not affect playoff standings. Justin Beachy led the Herd with 39 digs, Kyle Adams had 12 kills, Ed Benish had 42 assists in the loss. Carlisle travels to Red Land on Thursday in a AAA Mid Penn matchup.
