CONGRATULATIONS
Congratulations To the 11U Tierney/Girouard Team for its 5th Place Finish at the 2008 D-2 A.A.U Nationals Championship. There were 38 teams that qualified from all over the country and one from Canada. After going 3-0 in pool play and winning their pool, they made it to the Quarter finals in the Championship bracket. Their first loss came to the eventual champion NJB Stars from California, who are the 2 time defending D-1 National Champions. They Waves played 7 games over 6 Days and went 5 and 2.

The 2008 Cape Cod Waves Hosted Tournaments will be Listed on the Hosted Tournaments Toolbar to the Left. Girls and Boys Tournament registration Forms may also be found on a Toolbar to the Left.
The Cape Cod Waves take great pride in hosting well organized tournaments and use only the best I.A.A.B.O. certified officials. We also have the luxury of access to many "A" level single facility courts in which to play our tournaments in. Please click on "Gym Locations" page for a detail of each court we play on.
Our goal is to match teams with the best competition based on each teams registered ability level. We ask all teams to be honest with their teams ability level so that we may create the the best possible match-ups. We also track all teams that participate in our tournaments to make sure you will not play the same team twice in any of our tournaments unless otherwise requested.
If you feel we have not provided your team with any of the aforementioned, WE WILL REFUND YOUR TEAM A PARTIAL OR FULL REFUND. That is the Cape Cod Waves Guarantee.
About The Cape Cod Waves
The Cape Cod Waves are a Girls and Boys Amateur Athletic Union (A.A.U.) Basketball Program and are in our 5th year. More information about AAU can be found on www.neaau.org or www.aausports.org.
The Waves will have 9 Girls and 4 Boys Teams this 2008 Season. We will add 2nd teams at any level that has the demand. We have and recruit players from all over Cape Cod and Southeastern Massachusetts. Towns such as Bourne, Sandwich, Falmouth, Mashpee, Barnstable, Yarmouth, Brewster, Chatham, Dennis, Plymouth, Wareham, Hingham, Pembroke, Scituate, Carver, Middleboro, Marion, Rochester, Duxbury, Acushnet, Mattapoisett and Kingston.
Our Mission is to have an organization that will allow the Youth of Cape Cod and surrounding area to hone their basketball skills in the competitive A.A.U. environment under the guidance of qualified coaching.
The coaching goal will be to work on developing individual skills and to incorporate those skills into a competitive team environment.
Good sportsmanship is not only taught - it is expected.
Our teams have traveled to tournaments in Connecticut, Rhode Island, New Hampshire, New York, Washington DC, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Tennessee, Bermuda and Hawaii. The Spring Season runs from mid March to the end of June. Teams can choose the amount of tournaments they participate in. Usually our 16s, 15s and 14s will play in 10 to 12 tournaments, the 13s in 9 to 10 tournaments and the 12s and 11s in about 7 to 9 tournaments. We will host 4 of those tournaments. All of our Boys and Girls "A" teams will participate in the A.A.U. Massachusetts State Championship Tournament. There is also a short Fall season in which the older teams will participate in October and November. We use the Fall season to try-out new players for the Spring Season and to help our players get ready for their High School or Middle School Teams.
