The Brewers Baseball Club: Welcome
| Close Game goes in Brewers Favor |
Its been a tough couple of weeks for the Brewers but they kept their heads up and came out ready to play sunday versus the Bad News Bears. A few key defensive errors by the Bears allowed the Brewers to stay in the game and pull out the victory. Hot bats and great pitching helped the Brewers pull out a 10-8 victory. |
| BLACK SOX BARELY Squeak BY BREWERS |
The Denver Brewers came out smashing the starting pitching of the Black sox taking an early lead before the Black sox had to resort to the "junk" to slow down the offensive onslaught of the Brewers. |
| THE INFAMOUS INNING STRIKES AGAIN |
After a stellar performance the week before, the Denver Brewers were quickly back to their old ways of falling apart after just 4 innings of competitive baseball. For a short period of time there was a chance that the Denver Brewers were going to "hand it" to the Bad News Bears but that was quickly avoided when the Bad News Bears Scored 20 runs and stold 14 bases in 1 inning. The Denver Brewers made a valiant effort to battle back but ran out of time when the umpires called the game in the 5th inning because of a time limit. On another note. The umpires for that game in Ft Lupton were officially the worst umpires in the history of the world. |
| THE BREWERS WIN!!!: |
The Denver Brewers win their second game of the season behind the superb pitching of the Ace of the staff "Chris Zuniga. Not only did he pitch a complete game but helped himself out with a double down the line. A long awaited display of power by Rick Ivy also helped the Denver Brewers solidify their victory with a 2 run homerun. The line-up was shuffled offensively and defensively and it looks to be for the better. The Denver Brewers face a tough game next week against the always scary Bad News Bears "who whooped us" in our first meeting. Should be a good time. The game is at Ft Lupton High School on June 18th at 12:30pm. Please let the new head hancho know if your not going to make it.. |
| A New Beginning: |
Brewers had a few tough weeks with the lack of organization but have re-grouped and look to the 2nd half of the season to bounce back. The torch has been passed to Chris Zuniga "The Star Pitcher" of the Denver Brewers and he promises to make the rest of the season more exiting for fans and players.. |
