The Metro Boston umpire's Association is a local organization comprised of all Boston ASA Umpires. The organization annually recognizes umpires that have excelled within the Amateur Softball Association both locally and national.
The association also provides a stipend to all Boston ASA Umpires that have been selected to umpire at an ASA National Championship.

New England's only professional softball team.
Located in Lowell, MA. the Riptide consist of some of the best female softball player around, including former U.S. Olympians. The league has just expanded to Chicago and is signing members of the 2004 U.S. Olympic Gold Medal Team.
