Wisconsin Block Party volleyball club is a member of the Badger Region of USA Volleyball. Block
Party is designed to provide young volleyball players the opportunity
to improve their skills through instruction and competitive play.

PHILOSOPHY
Girls 11s, 12s, 13-1s, 13-2s, 14s, and Boys 12s, 14s, 15s, 16s
Block
Party Volleyball Club is designed to provide young volleyball players
the opportunity to improve their skills through instruction and
competitive play. Emphasis is placed on learning proper technique.
Girls 15s, 16-1s, 16-2s
The
purpose of Block Party 15s and 16s is to provide a playing experience
for players that may be balancing multiple activities, but would still
like the opportunity to continue playing because they enjoy the game.
The goal of the team will be to be competitive through strategy and
consistent play.
Instructional Team
Emphasis at practices will be placed on teaching proper technique.
PRACTICES
Block
Party practices will be held at Center Court Sports Complex, Mount Mary
College, and St. Pius X Grade School. Block Party Girls 12s- 14s and
Boys 14s - 16s will practice for two hours, two times per week. Block
Party Girls 11s and Boys 12s will practice for 1½ hours, two times a
week.
Block
Party Girls' 15s-16s will practice one – two times per week.
Specialized position practices may be offered, based on availability.
Block
Party Instructional team practices will be held for one and one-half
hours twice a week from December, 2007, to late March, 2008.
TOURNAMENTS/SEASON
Block
Party Girls 12s- 14s and Boys 12s - 16s will participates in 5-6
weekend tournaments during the season from January to late March/early
April. Block Party Girls 11s will participate in 3 weekend tournaments
and several scrimmages.
Block Party Girls 15s-16s will participate in 6 weekend tournaments during the season from January to late March/early April
The Block Party Instructional team will scrimmage other instructional teams, but will not play in other tournaments..
FEES
Club fees for the 2007-2008 season are $560.00 for
the Girls 12s -16s and Boys 14s - 16s. For the Girls 11s and Boys 12s,
the club fees are $425.00. This amount is used to cover USAV
registration, uniforms, court rental fees for practices, coaches’ fees,
coach registration & training, equipment and administrative costs. Fees for the Instructional team are $225.00, which include USAV registration, court rental fees, coach registration & training, equipment and administrative costs.
