The Birmingham Metro Baseball League is a competitive adult baseball league in Birmingham, Alabama. The league features former college and high school players from the Birmingham Metropolitan area. The league will feature 8 teams in 2008. All rosters have been filled for 2008. Please email the league office with your playing experience and contact information to enter the player pool. Coaches may utilize the player pool throughout the season.
The 2008 Season will begin May 17th, 2008 with our preseason tournament. The season will last until early August.
In 2008, the Birmingham Metro Baseball League will partner with the Hoover Parks and Recreation Department and the City of Hoover. The League is now listed as one of the Adult Programs offered by this department. Click Here!
The best of the Birmingham Metro Baseball League will participate in an all star tournament with the Montgomery Metro Baseball League at Riverwalk Stadium, home of the Montgomery Biscuits, on Saturday July 26th. All team slots for 2008 have been filled. To enter a team in the 2009 Birmingham Metro Baseball League, please email the league office with your contact information. Teams will need to pre-qualify with the league office by April 1st, 2009 to participate in the league. We will be expanding the number of teams in 2009 due to increased interest, however please act early to be considered a serious candidate to enter a team in the most competitive adult baseball league in Birmingham.
