EVENT DETAILS:
The event will take the entire day ...

We are NOT inviting All Star Clubs .. The clubs that are participating are individual towns that are insured by either their Parks & Rec Program or USA Wrestling.

- Setup in dual match format - one team against the other (not random bout sheets)
- No team score
- No overtime matches (due to the number of matches)
- Periods will be 1 -1 -1
- Each team will end up with 3 dual matches
- Grades K - 5
- Wrestling takes place in two separate rooms
- Matches are to be made as competitive as possible
- Each wrestler is matched up by weight, age, experience, and skill level (A - F), coaches honor
- I will provide a spreadsheet where each coach can post their roster and include weight, grade, yrs of experience, and grade the wrestlers skill level (A,B,C,D,F). This template will be used for matchups


- Details
- We will have 3 referees rotating throughout the day
- EMT on site
- Paid janitors for the day

- Each team is charged $15.00 per wrestler
- One check should be provided per team, payable to NMWA (New Milford Wrestling Association).
- The 'minimum fee' will be based on the roster as of one week prior to the event. If additional wrestlers are added, the fee will increase accordingly.
- Every wrestler will receive a medal
- Each Team will receive a trophy
- We will have a professional photographer at the event, to sell action shots (I have purchased many over the last 2 years)
- We will sell tee-shirts with the name of each wrestler on the back
- We will be selling food all day

- Tho Goal of the event
- This is a fund raiser for our Youth Program
- Build a relationship with programs that we would not normally compete against
- The goal is to get everyone at least 3 matches
- Last year wrestlers had from 3 to 10 matches on the day (depending on individual matchups)
- Two years ago, one wrestler from NJ wrestled 10 matches on the day (5 against New Milford)
- A few kids from our team wrestled 7 matches on the day as well

FROM THE GEORGE WASHINGTON BRIDGE
- Cross the George Washington Bridge
- take the Henry Hudson Pkwy North
- The Henry Hudson Pkwy will turn in to the Saw Mill River Pkwy North
- Continue on the Saw Mill River Pkwy North until you reach Route 684 North
- 684 North to exit 9E (Rt 84 - Danbury).
- Take Route 84 East to exit 7 (Route 7 - Brookfield / New Milford) (exit 7 is a left hand lane exit and there is no exit 6).
Go to the end and make a right at the light . - Continue on Route 7 North   (You will pass WalMart and New Milford High School
on left, pass Home Depot on left).
- At McDonalds, make a left at the light on to Sunny Valley Road.
- Your 2nd left is the driveway entrance to Sarah Noble Intermediate School

Directions from the east:
- Take Route 84 West to exit 9.
- At bottom of the ramp, make a right on to route 25 (towards Brookfield)
- Continue on Route 25 to the Route 7 'Brookfield 4 Corners' (traffic light and 4 gas stations)
- Make a right on to Route 7 North
- Continue on Route 7 North   (You will pass New Milford High School, pass WalMart on left, pass KMart on left).
- At McDonalds, make a left at the light on to Sunny Valley Road.
