This is the Official Home of Belmar - Avon - Lake Como Little League Baseball. We are returning for our 28th year of Little League Baseball at the Jersey Shore. Although the site is new and will constantly under construction, we hope you find the site packed with information and easy to use. Please tour the site and drop us a note with any ideas you have that may allow this site to better serve your needs. The 2008 Season Tournament Games Begin On July 2nd!!! BALC will be hosting tournament games beginning on July 2nd at 6:00pm thru our last tournament game on July 13th at 6:00pm. For those Teams visiting BALC for the first time, directions to the Lake Como 22nd Avenue Field can be found under the locations tab. The tournament game schedule is as follows: July 2nd at 6:00PM July 5th at 6:00PM July 7th at 6:00PM July 8th at 6:00PM July 9th at 6:00PM July 13th at 6:00PM We are looking for volunteers to assist with the event - please contact Mike Howell at (732) 681-1248 if you can help. The BALC Home Field Includes Some Great Facility Improvements!!! In 2006 we made some significant facility improvements, including a new 2-sided batting cage, a new equipment shed, a PA system, a great snack stand and better access to our left field bleachers. In 2007 we added a designated pitcher warmup areas down the right and left field foul areas of our fields and installed new clay over the entire infield of the Lake Como minor/major league field. We are currently planning our 2009 facility improvements...your ideas, and more importantly, your support, would be greatly needed!!!
