Welcome to the Home of BAC Youth Football
The BAC Youth Football program provides quality instruction and coaching to students in grades five through eight. The program has four elements:
Flag Football for grades 2, 3, and 4;
The AFL, which is the 5/6 grade program;
The NFL, which is the 7/8 grade program;
The All City Team, which is selected from the 8th graders in the program to play in several Bowl Games
The BAC is a volunteer based non-profit organization dedicated to the development of the community's young people through sports. The BAC provides sports supervision and administration for youth athletic activities. The BAC is organized under the direction of a Board of Directors, which is comprised of officers and sport commissioners.
BAC Football’s commissioner is Mel Larson.
In House sports are open to all residents of Burnsville/Savage and those families residing within the boundaries of Independent School District #191.

RIVER SOUTH FULL CONTACT FOOTBALL CAMP
The 5th Annual River South Football Camp was held on June 16th through June 20th at Vista View Park. This year, 43 youth football players attended the camp, which featured excellent instruction on:
- passing
- receiving
- tackling
- blocking
- mental preparation
- proper stretching and running techniques
The River South Football Camp is a full contact camp. Helmets, shoulder pads, and a practice jersey are issued to participants. Players provide practice football pants, football cleats, athletic cup/supporter, and a mouthguard. Snacks and water will be provided at the camp, but players are encouraged to bring their own water bottles as well.
The goal of the River South Football Camp staff is to provide quality instruction on the techniques used in the game of football. Players follow a series of drills and activities that will help them understand the physical and mental toughness it takes to play the game and to make the game enjoyable and fun.
This camp can also help parents determine whether or not their son/daughter can handle the sport on a physical level. If a parent (or player) believes that they do not want to participate in the upcoming BAC fall football season based on their performance at this camp, a refund will be rewarded for the BAC youth football season if that player has registered to play. The camp fee is non-refundable. Cost of the camp is $100.
BAC REGISTRATION FEE REFUND POLICY
The following policy will be in effect for the 2008 season:
A full refund will be granted if asked for prior to the first day of ratings week. A partial rebate will be given up to and including draft day (Thursday of ratings week). This partial rebate will include the fund raiser fee and $50.00 of the registration fee.
After teams have been selected, there will be NO refunds. Note that the flag program will not be affected by this policy except as after teams are selected the policy will be the same as tackle. If you have any questions, please contact BAC Football.

BAC FOOTBALL SPEED IMPROVEMENT CAMP
Speed improvement camp is held during the first two weeks of August. The camp consists of several different stations that groups rotate to during the hour long session. These include:
This camp is for boys and girls and is not restricted to just football players. The cost of the camp is $35.00, and players can attend one week, both weeks, or any parts of either week. Forms will be available at the camp and you can sign-up on the first day you attend. Contact BAC Football with more questions at bacfootball@integra.net.

YOUTH FLAG FOOTBALL
BAC Youth Football, in association with the NFL Youth Football program, will again be offering flag football. Last year was a great success with the 3rd and 4th graders, and this year we are considering adding 2nd grade to the program.
The program provides young players a fun and exciting opportunity to engage in non-contact, continuous action while learning lessons in teamwork.
The registration fee is $50.00, and each registered player will receive 10 door-prize drawing raffle tickets (to be sold for $5.00 a piece) to help curb the cost.
The BAC will provide each player with a team jersey that the player can keep. For more information on the NFL Flag Football program, click here, or contact BAC Football.
