RANGERS OF BURKE AC
Congratulations to Ben, Alex and Tyler for being voted as the Team Captains for the Fall Season. The Rangers have high hopes for these boys.

Rangers of Burke AC are looking for a return to excellence after a dissappointing season full of injuries, players moving and anything else you could have imagined. This fall we have added strength to the attack, depth throughout the field and a renewed engery and committment to development. Look for the Rangers to be a more balanced and disciplined team with a committment to play and a higher level of intensity.

The Rangers added GK Mitchell Lagos of Ashburn, D Neal Osborn of McLean, D Nelson Maldonado and F Mori Diane of PAC, F Connor Tobin of Sterling FC and M Obi Enechionya of SYC Tigres. We are very excited about this group and we look forward to building to State Cup in the Spring.

This summer we had a couple of boys involved the Super Y League and the experience was tremendous for these boys and we look forward to getting more boys involved the programs. Obi was involved in the DC United Academy program this summer for the Rising U14's. Ben, Neal, Joseph were members of the rising U14 NOVA Royals under Coach Todd this summer. We think the experience will benefit the Rangers tremendously.

We also one player go to Mexico to play with the Historic Mexican club Chivas to train and play with the club in the Club Cup.

The Rangers now have 6 boys training with the Northern District ODP team. I am very proud of these boys who selected to the Northern District ODP this year. 94’ Ben Farrell, 95’ Obi Enechionyia, Alex Hartman, Fernando Muzo, Jorge Quezada, and Jason Swartz. We should be very proud of these boys and there are boys on the Rangers who could be on that team.

The Rangers are a competitive team developed to compete at the highest levels at the State and Regional Level, and eventually at the National Level. The members of the Rangers take pride in being the hardest working team in the NCSL and in the State. Our players are dedicated to development and competition.

If you are interested in joining the Rangers please contact us for more information about the Rangers. Head Coach Todd Spitalny, gkcoach@cox.net.
