TO REGISTER A PLAYER FOR THE FALL 2008 SEASON, CLICK ON THE "HANDOUTS" SECTION ON THE LEFT AND THEN PRINT UP THE 2008 REGISTRATION FORM WHICH IS A WORD DOCUMENT. BOYS AND GIRLS BORN BETWEEN 8/1/89 - 7/31/04 ARE ELIGIBLE TO PLAY. GAMES START ON AUGUST 23 AND YOU SHOULD BE CONTACTED BY A COACH IN EARLY AUGUST. Abington Youth Soccer will be celebrating its 33rd season in 2008. We are the largest recreational soccer organization in Northeast Pennsylvania. Our registration numbers run anywhere from 1150 to 1250 children from the ages of 5 to 17. Last season we had 102 soccer teams where all of the athletes are taught the fundamentals of soccer in an atmosphere that promotes team sportsmanship and camaraderie. Our league is not about winners or losers, all players are played equally in all positions, and no statistics are kept. The children are there to learn, to enhance their soccer skills, and to have fun while they enjoy the game of soccer.
