Welcome to the home of Archbishop Spalding High School Cavaliers Ice Hockey. The 2007-08 season marks the 15th year of Spalding's ice hockey program. The ICE CAV'S will have new Head Coach Bob Trantin at the helm, and look to have an exciting season. Pat McNealy will take over the JV.
Archbishop Spalding's Varsity-level team is a member of the highly competitive Maryland Interstate Athletic Association (MIAA) "A" conference in the Maryland. The teams practice three times a week at their home ice, Piney Orchard Ice Arena in Odenton, with additional off-ice training at Spalding's new, state-of-the-art athletic training facility, completed in December 2005. Spalding Ice Hockey alumni have gone on to play for a number of college teams and Junior-level programs. If you would like to learn more about Archbishop Spalding High School and the Cavalier ice hockey program, you may call the Admissions Office or e-mail the coaching staff.
