AA's Are Headed to 'Bama Baby
HOF 3rd Place
3rd Place - 2008 Hall of Fame
The AA's flew in on a storm (literally, with tornado warnings and severe thunderstorms) and took the first two games Friday to clinch a berth to the 2008 ASA 12U Nationals.  The USA Olympic team played at the same complex as us and Cat Osterman made a guest appearance in our dugout to give the girls some words of encourangement.  Overall the AA's placed 3rd in the tournament of 18.  Good job AA's

AA's Take 4th at SoCal States

The AA’s made a phenomenal effort at So Cal States this past weekend and took 4th out of 39 teams.  After a tough draw and a 2nd round loss, the players rallied to play 6 back-to-back games on Sunday arriving at the fields at 6:45am and leaving at 8:30pm.  They defeated the tough Fury Softball team when they finally broke open the game in the last two innings winning 8-1.  Then they defeated Power Surge 96 team 8-0 and OC Wildcats 5-3 to secure a Regional Berth.  They faced The Next Level at 2:00pm and came back in the 3rd inning with 4 huge runs and held off TNL’s lethal lineup with a clutch double play in the 6th inning to win 4-3.  Bomb Squad was their next opponent, who battled in the winner’s bracket through the quarter finals, but lost to the AA’s 9-0 who were hungry for the final game of the day.  Unfortunately, after our first hour break of the day, our bats lost their pop in the last game and we came home short handed but victorious in our team growth.  We are off to Oklahoma City where we will face the best 18 teams from around the country and hope to bring back a berth.

Good Job AA's!!!!!!

AA's Head to Las Vegas for St. Paddy's Day Tourney

The AA's embarked on a great challenge this weekend by playing up in the 14U Division.  We outscored our opponents 29-5 with no runs allowed in pool play and 4 shut outs.   We enjoyed the snow capped mountains as we braved the 43 degree weather on Sunday that shortened game times to 1 hour.   These SoCal girls rocked Vegas!

Straight AA's U-Know!

The AA's gave us some exciting games this weekend battling some tough teams.  The team continues to show improvement each week and scored some big runs when we needed them. Nothing like being the first team on the fields at dawn and the last ones off at 10pm - Congratulations AA's on a marathon weekend!

Disney HOF Champs
The AA's had a great weekend of softball and this is just the start.  This championship earns the team a berth to the 2008 Hall of Fame Tournament in Oklahoma City in June.  Congratulations ladies on a job well done!

AA's Kick Off Season With Pink Ribbon Championship

The AA's were proud to support the 2nd Annual Tournament for breast cancer awareness.  The coaches were thrilled with the team as they performed very well without one team practice.
