T-Ball
Our T-Ball division offers Abington Little League's youngest players the opportunity to learn the fundamentals of the game in a fun, noncompetitive environment. 2008 eligible birth dates: 5/1/00 to 4/30/03 Minor Farm This is our "Coach Pitch" division. Minor Farm provides a transition from T-Ball to "real" baseball. For 2008 this division will be coach pitch for the entire season. No players will pitch. 2008 eligible birth dates: 5/1/98 to 4/30/01 Major Farm Major Farm gives our players a taste of real baseball with slightly toned down rules. Players will begin to pitch in this division. Those eligible players who don't get drafted into Little League will be assigned to a Major Farm team. 2008 eligible birth dates: 5/1/95 to 4/30/99 Little League: Abington American Our Little League division is divided into two leagues; Abington American & Abington National. The winners of each league qualify for District 17's annual City-County Tournament in August. To be eligible to be drafted for LL, players need to attend a tryout in early March.
