Knights Spring History
2000   Record: 9-11       Roy Campanella
The Knights struggle in the second-half of their inaugural season, but are able to make the playoffs. They are eliminated in the first round.

2001   Record: 16-4       Roy Campanella AAA
With the addition of solid pitching, the Knights finish with the second-best record in the league. They win their first-ever playoff game in dramatic fashion against the Bulls, but lose a heartbreaker in the semi-finals to the Yankees.

2002   Record: 16-3-1    Roy Campanella AAA
Posting a 16-3-1 record, the Knights win their first division title. Unfortunately, their brilliant regular season effort is wasted as they lose in the semi-finals to their old nemesis, the Bulls.

2003   Record: 10-10    Roy Campanella AAA
With the addition of some very competitive teams to the league, the Knights are only able to go .500 in the regular season. However, they find their stride in the playoffs, and make an improbable run, taking the eventual champion Jackals to the limit in their semi-final series.

2004   Record: 14-5*      Roy Campanella AAA
A magical season for the Knights. The addition of some "missing pieces" to their team results in their first-ever spring championship. The boys in blue defeat the Paterson Mets in an exciting series, 2 games to 1.

2005   Record: 11-9       Roy Campanella AAA
Looking to defend their title, the Knights go 11-9 in the regular season and lose in the semi-finals to the eventual 2005 champions, the Bats.

2006   Record: 11-9       Mel Ott
The Knights make the jump to the Mel Ott league. During the season they show flashes of brilliance, but their inconsistent play brings an 11-9 record. They lose in the first round of the playoffs to the Parsippany Yankees.

2007   Record: 12-7-1    Roy Campanella AAA
The team returns to the Campy AAA looking to re-kindle the glory of 2004. With a solid pitching lineup that features some new, polished arms, the Knights finish the regular season with 12 wins and make the playoffs. Unfortunately, they lose a close game in the opening round to the Kingsbridge Angels.

Totals:      99-58-2
