HOME OF THE 2006 CHAMPIONSHIP UNA BEARS
"AKA THE EVIL EMPIRE"

E-MAIL unafootball@bellsouth.net

In 2006 the Una Bears program was the most successful member of the Mid-State Youth Football League. We strive to teach each participant not only the game of football, but also the importance of teamwork, fundamentals, sportsmanship, and discipline. We offer the best equipment, facilities, and coaching available, along with an environment conducive to achieving excellence, both on and off the field. The strength of our program is in our staff. The majority of coaches on our staff have extensive experience coaching youth and high school players. In addition, many of our staff members also have collegiate and NFL playing experience. Because of this experienced staff, all players have the opportunity to learn the game from highly trained and motivated coaches. Each age division is broken down into triples, doubles, and singles by experience, size and skill, with the triple levels being the most experienced.

WINNING TRADITION ... CHAMPIONSHIPS Una teams over the past years have enjoyed the highest winning percentage of any youth football program in the Mid-State. There are reasons for this - good coaches. Every head coach in our organization is hand picked and attends an annual program geared toward youth football, stressing basic fundamentals. Our program philosophy is based on teaching safe and proper fundamentals, discipline and techniques of the game.

WHO GOES WHERE? Players are broken down by age and skill level. This is to prevent more advanced players from being paired off with ones who have little or no experience. Teams are fielded in the following age divisions: 5-6 year olds 'Pee Wee' 7-8 year olds 'C' division 9-10 year olds 'B' division 11-12 year olds 'A' division Each age division is broken down into triple, double and single levels by experience, size and skill, with triple levels being the most experienced. AAA - Most experienced 11-12 yr. olds AA - Next level of 11-12 yr. olds A - Least experienced 11-12 yr. olds
