Happy Thanksgiving to all of our TCY Swimmers and families.

This week we will practice Monday only and resume our normal schedule next Monday, December 1st, 2008.

TCY Swimming will again head south for our annual winter training trip which is available for swimmers ages 11-18.  Go to our link page and register on line using the YMCA Link for the winter training trip.

A deposit of $25 holds your spot with the balance due in October.

All swimmers should have equipment below at this point if not please insure you have your team suit ordered and rec'd on or before 10/17/08.

TCY team caps are now available from Alana Seebode at the YMCA, please contact Alana directly to secure.

 All TCY Swimmers are required to have team suit and cap as this is C&P league rule. 

Swimmers will need to purchase the following equipment and insure they have with them for the first day of practice.

Our team vendor is Kast - A - Way Swimwear who is the largest Speedo team dealer in the USA and is the prime vendor for the YMCA Competitive Swimming Group.

We are a Speedo team so all equipment should be Speedo in regards to suits, caps, goggles, bags etc.

Team Cap - We have pre-ordered and will sell at the YMCA

Team Suit - Female:

 Meet suit navy endurance pro back or aqua blade pro back, Practice suit endurance navy with red straps or any endurance suit these suits hold up the best.. 

Male: Meet endurance navy jammer or aqua blade jammer.

Practice choose any endurance suit or drag suit - endurance suits hold up the best in chlorine.

*For senior swimmers Fast Skins and other suits should be reserved for "Big Meets" :)

Goggles - see what is best fit - if you need quickly The Athlete in Easton, Md. has a good supply

Waterbottle - please purchase kids a large heavy plastic water bottle vs water store bought water, gatorade to insure we do not have massive trash on the pool deck not to mention being enviornmentally friendly.

Sting & Rays    $400

Discounts - 2nd swimmer 5% off team fee for second swimmer, 10% off 3rd and 4th swimmers.

All new swimmers need to contact Alana Seebode as well if you are new members to the YMCA if you would like to set up on-line payment.

The above fee's cover practice time and a team tee-shirt and USA Swimming membership. They do not cover meet fee's, team required suit and cap or training equipment as required.
