We also lost to an aggressive Anaheim, CA team, 6 - 4.
2004 U13: The boys played in a very competitive Washington State Sandy Koufax league. The Titan's overall record was 70-17-1. The team won the CABA/AAU Tournament at Moshier Fields in June. The championship game against the Kitsap Bulldogs was won in extra innings. The Titans were down by 3 in the bottom of the 8th and came back to win it all. The Titans also won their first international tournament playing in the Canadian American Classic in Oliver BC. The championship game was also a tough game won in extra innings against the Mudville Golden Eagles. The team traveled to the CABA Ultimate World Series in Broken Arrow, Oklahoma. We played New York, Cincinnati, Arkansas, Tulsa, Puerto Rico and Spokane. The Titans placed second in the consolation bracket after losing a tough game to Spokane. We wound up the season against the Dominican Republic who came to Seattle looking for some games. We played at Evergreen 5 and we were able to get 4 games in over the weekend. It was a great experience for both the players and the parents of both teams.
2005 U14: The boys once again played in the Sandy Koufax league's Olympic Division as well as playing in the Evergreen State Baseball Association. The Titans overall record for the season was 68-9-1. The boys won 3 early tournaments, the Spokane Cinco De Mayo, the Jeff Thorton CABA National Qualifier and the Mickey Merriam CABA/AAU National Qualifier before going to Canada and repeating as Champions in the Canadian American Classic located in Oliver BC. They took 3rd in the Koufax State Tournament after a 1 run loss to the Seattle Stars in the semi-finals. The season was capped off with a USABA World Series Championship win in Pasco, Washington. The boys captured the title by fighting their way through the losers bracket and winning the final three games on the last day of the tournament in 100 degree heat. The final two games against a very good Kennewick All-Star team who came through the winners bracket and had beaten the Titans earlier in the tournament. Once again we were able to end the season by hosting the Dominican Republic in a Friendship Tournament. This was a great event and we were happy to be able to get more teams involved. The Kent Cannons, Woodinville Tigers, Spokland (Combination of Spokane and Richland) and a last minute addition of Frank Merrier's U13 team joined us for this great experience.
