Dear friend and neighbor,

      Schuyler County Little League proudly presents our first  “100 Inning Game”. This event is a marathon of baseball and fun, an all-day game to raise funds and support for our rapidly expanding league on May 18^th, 2008 from 10am to about 8pm at Clute Park in Watkins Glen.

      Our goal, with your help, is to continue providing Schuyler County with the best Little League Baseball possible. We respectfully request your participation in this worthwhile event. We are in need of:· Inning Sponsors· Event Volunteers & Organizers· Goods and services that may be used for raffle items· Various levels of financial support through corporate and personal donations. 

The 2008 SCLL “100 Inning Game” features:

-A fun, fast-paced baseball game lasting approximately 10hrs.

-Various local teams from all levels.

-Chicken Bar-B-Q presented by Burdett Volunteer Fire Department

All teams must arrive 1/2 hour early to the start time to warm-up and pick up their 100 Inning shirts.

Finally able to get the pictures from Jerlando's/Odessa Americal Legion game on the website.

I should hopefully be able to get Minor A and Minor B game pictures throughout the season! Enjoy!!

• Competition is free for all participatants
• Boys and Girls ages 7-14 are welcome
• Must supply a valid birth certificate
• Must submit a signed registration/waiver form

If you are interested in a website to keep your individual stats in regards to hitting/pitching...etc... putting photos of the team and games up etc...which is great for family not in the area to see what's going on..and don't have the time or someone else willing to do it...I will... just email me at liv3btrflis@yahoo.com or call me 607-535-7179 and I will set it up and keep it up for you.

Schuyler County Little League Needs Your Help!

There are many ways in which to help over the next few weeks.....

Saturday April 5th:  Volunteers are needed to help out with field work and getting the field ready for Game Time!!  Starting time is 10:00 am until finished....anytime you can spare would be wonderful!

Saturday April 5th:  Help with the Equipment Swap meet. Donations are being accepted from 1-2pm at WGFH, actual swap meet is 2-4pm at WGFH. Contact Mary Kay @ 738-3836 if you are interested in helping out this venue.

Also, we are still in need of a conscession stand group:  The group would be in charge of concession stand operations at Clute Park- Fazzary Field,  though you wouldn't have to work it all season. For further information in regards to concessions please contact Bonnie @ 594-2395.
