The Copperheads are a rising U17 premier travel team in the Southwestern Youth Association from Northern Virginia and play in the National Capital Soccer League (NCSL) Division 1.
The team is professionally trained and coached by Irving and Michael Williams. Each coach has over 30 years of playing and coaching experience at the youth, collegiate, and professional levels. The coaches are committed to develop players for ODP, high school, college, and beyond in a supportive and encouraging environment. Our program has a heavy focus on the whole college recruitment process.
The Copperheads play a highly competitive and attractive style of soccer while encouraging creativity, and self-expression. In addition to the tough NCSL schedule, the Copperheads will compete in the Virginia State Cup, and 7 to 8 College Showcase Tournaments a year.
Our club, Southwestern Youth Association, is unique in that we are modeled after the premier clubs in Europe. Players are developed as a whole throughout the club with first-class coaches. The club has multiple teams in each age group which encourages the development.
