ACTIVE SEMPWFL ASSOCIATIONS LISTED BELOW FOR 2008:
We are referred to as the 'League' and below is a listing of our current member associations for the 2008 season. Each association is required to have 3 to 6 football teams. Given this information, we expect to have 76 football teams and minimally 35 cheer/dance squads. 2,500 youth will make up our "competitive" football traveling teams and cheer/dance squads. We anticipate about 400 Mitey Mite and Tiny Mite players between the ages of 5-8 that will make up about 20 instructional teams managed by 65-70 adult volunteer coaches. Not to leave out the Tiny Mite and Mitey Mite cheer leaders that will make up 16-18 instructional cheer squads for about 80 children.

DETROIT HURRICANES (Colors: Green, Orange & White)
The Detroit Hurricanes Youth Athletics & Enrichment Program is a non-profit organization that has football & cheer programs for youth 5 to 15 years of age who reside in the boundaries of Southeast Michigan. For the 2008 season the Hurricanes will have six (6) football and cheer/dance squads. Tiny Mites, Mitey Mites, Junior Peewees, Peewees, Junior Midgets, and Midget teams. DETROIT KNIGHTS (Colors: Navy, Red & White)
The Detroit Knights Association is a non-profit based organization in the city of Detroit Michigan that conducts supervised competitive football & cheerleading for youth 5 to 15 years of age. For the 2008 season the Kinghts will have six (6) football and cheer/dance squads. Tiny Mites, Mitey Mites, Junior Peewees, Peewees, Junior Midgets, and Midget teams. The Detroit Titans Youth Athletic Association is a non-profit organization in the State of Michigan. For the 2008 season, the Titans will have six (6) football and cheer/dance squads for children 5 to 15 years of age: Tiny Mites, Mitey Mites, Junior Peewees, Peewees, Junior Midgets, and Midget teams. Practices for the 2008 season will be held at Rouge Park (located at Burt Rd. & Orangelawn, south of Plymouth Rd. west of Evergreen). The Inkster Raiders are the Inkster Youth Athletic Association based in the City of Inkster Michigan, it is a non-profit organization that provides competitive football & cheer leading teams for youth 5 to 15 years of age. The teams for youth 5 through 7 years of age are instructional teams or squads. Games for the 2008 season will be played at Robichaud H.S in Dearborn Michigan and practices will be held at Colonial Park (one of the Wayne County Park Systems - at Inkster & Michigan Avenue-1 block north of Michigan avenue) in City of Inkster.

The Motor City Youth Organization is a non-profit organization serving youth primarily in the northeast Detroit area. For the 2008, the Chargers will recruit youth from 5 to 11 years of age for instructional and competitive football & cheer teams. Games will be played at Southfield Lathrup HS in Southfield Michigan. This non-profit association will have football and cheer teams for children from ages 5 to 15 years of age. For the 2008 season, the Falcons will have football teams all for age group divisions: Tiny Mites, Mitey Mites; Junior Peewees; Peewees; Junior Midgets; and Midgets. During the 2008 season, the Ravens association plans to have a full complement of football teams & cheer squads for children 5 to 15 years of age. Plans are to form two instructional teams: Tiny Mites and Mitey Mite teams; and four competitive teams: Junior Peewees, Peewees, Junior Midgets and Midgets. The Washtenaw Warriors Youth Athletics Group is a non-profit organization that was formed to serve the youth of Washtenaw County and provide an opportunity to participate in athletics and to gain exposure to the values that athletics can provide. This season, they will play their home games at Rynearson Stadium on the campus of Eastern Michigan University. YPSILANTI PANTHERS (Colors: Black & Gold)
This is a non-profit association that will have football and cheer teams for youth 5 to 15 years of age, during the 2008 season. The majority of youth who partcipate live primarily in the Ypsilanti Michigan area. The Panther association plans to form 6 football teams for the 2008 season: two instructional teams Tiny Mites, and Mitey Mites; and four compeitive team: Junior Peewees; Peewees; Junior Midget and Midgets. Refer to the Age and Weight Chart on this web-site on the "Documents" page to see what team the child should play on. Also, Panther cheer & dance squads are expected to be formed.
