SCOLL AGM DATE SET FOR OCTOBER 29TH
The Stoney Creek Optimist Little League will hold it’s Annual General Meeting at the Stoney Creek Optimist Club Hall on Wednesday, October 29th starting at 7 p.m.
The purpose of the AGM is to address issues dealing with the baseball program, as well as elect new executive members for the upcoming season.
There are positions on the 2009 SCOLL executive that do not have a nominee. If you are interested in becoming an executive member for the 2009 season please contact the league at ScollScores@hotmail.com.

THANK YOU
On behalf of the 2008 SCOLL Executive, thank you to all the many volunteers that have helped to make this season one of the best in a long time.
As we close out the 2008 House League Season we lookat closing the SCOLL year with the Labour Day Weekend tournament for the 9 and 10 year old all-star teams. If anybody would like to help out with the BBQ, concessions or grounds crew please contact a board member and they will take your information and contact you as we get closer to the tournament.
Also, if you or you know somebody that would be a great fit on the 2009 SCOLL Executive, please make your nomination for a position at the email provided in the nominations announcement and join us at the AGM (date and time TBA).
Again, to the many coaches, families and the 2008 executive, thank you to everybody for making this a wonderful season.

COACHES MUST REPORT SCORES
All SCOLL coaches must email in their scores to SCOLLscores@hotmail.com after every game. This will allow the league to have the standings updated as soon as possible on the website. Please note that any game that an umpire calls due to the score being out of reach, that is the score that is recorded as the final even if allowed to play an extra inning.

WE NEED VOLUNTEERS
Stoney Creek Optimist Little league is operated solely by the help of volunteers. The majority of help comes from the parents of the little leaguers, but not you don't need to be a parent to volunteer your time!
There are numerous areas where Scoll can use help. Coaching, umpiring, field maintenance, fundraising, and events coordination are just a few of the areas where you can show off your skills!
Lend a hand in support of Stoney Creek youth by volunteering a small portion of your time. The experience is rewarding! You will maximize the quality experience young players will have in the up-coming 2008 season..
