Monday, June 2
2008 Purples Baseball Camp, June 9 th - 11th !!!!!!
The coaching staff will be conducting their annual Purples baseball camp on June 9th, 10th, and 11th. The camp will run from 9:00am to 12:00pm each day. The camp is for players between the ages of 8 and 14. The camp will be held at Harold J. Stahl field, on the campus of Bowling Green High School. A copy of the registration form is available on the Forms & Handouts page. The cost of the camp is $50, per player, if you pre-register by May 30th. The cost will be $60, the first day of camp, if you don't pre-register Each camper will receive instruction on the basic fundamentals of baseball, and get a chance to play in a modified game each day. Baseball Banquet, Thursday, May 22nd, 6;00pm, BGHS Commons !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
The 2008 Post Season Baseball Banquet will be held at the Commons Area, at BGHS, on Thursday, May 22nd, at 6:00pm. The banquet is being catered by Cambridge Market. The bullpen club will be paying for the players and coaches. The cost for each additional family member will be $10 per person. The meal will include dinner, drinks, and desert. The banquet committee will be in contact with each family in the next day or so to get a count for the number of family members that will be attending the banquet.

District 14th Schedule!!!!!!!!!!!
The district games are scheduled to be played at Warren East. The first round is scheduled for Monday, May 19th. Warren Central and Greenwood will be playing at 5:00pm. Warren East and Bowling Green will be playing at 8:00pm. The district championship game will be played at Warren East on Tuesday, May 20th. Game time TBA. Wednesday, May 21st, the scheduled make up day for the tournament.

16th Annual Golf Scramble
The 16th Annual Bullpen Club Golf Scramble will be held at Crosswinds Golf Course on Saturday, April 12th. Player sign in will be begin at 7:15. The tournament will begin with a shotgun start at 8:00am. A continental breakfast and lunch will be provided. Hole sponsorships are $100. Fees for the tournament are $75 for an individual or $300 per 4 man team. The tournament entry form is available on the Forms & Handout Page. REGIONAL CHAMPIONS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Congratulations to the 2007 Region 4 Champs!! The Purples defeated Franklin-Simpson in a 11-1, 5 inning game at Nick Denes field on the campus of Western Kentucky. The Purples won the regional tournament based on good hitting, defense, and solid pitching. The Purples will travel to Paducah next week to face Heath High School in a best of three series.

Bowling Green Wins District Championship!!!!!!!!!!!
Congratulations to the varsity team for a dramatic come from behind victory to win the 2007 District Championship. BGHS defeated Warren Central, 13 - 11, in a action packed, 8 inning, ball game. The Purples will begin first round play in the regional tournament at Western Kentucky, on Monday, May 28th. The game time will be announced in the next few days.
